THE STORY

A Journey in Melody

I’m Jon Sarta, and my journey with music started in Ridgewood, NJ—playing in bands, writing songs, and dreaming big. Before fully diving into music, I worked with my dad, a Golf Professional, until I was 25. I like to tell people I’m living proof that there’s no “golf gene” that makes you play well just by being born into it!

Life took a turn when I married my amazing wife, Lisa, and decided to pursue music full-time at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Eventually, I made my way to Orlando, FL, and I’ve been here ever since. A Disney audition changed everything, and since 1989, I’ve had the privilege of playing for Walt Disney World.

Alongside my work at Disney, I’ve been blessed with a second career as Director of Music at Resurrection Catholic Church, where I combine my love of music with my faith. Over the years, I’ve continued writing and recording solo piano albums, learning organ, guitar, and bass—and yes, even trying my hand at singing (though I’ll admit, I’m my harshest critic!).

Your support means the world—whether it’s a purchase, becoming a patron, buying sheet music, or streaming my recordings. Every bit helps me continue doing what I love. I encourage you to sign up for my newsletter for occasional updates about what’s happening in my musical world—I promise to make it worth your while!

Thank you for stopping by, for listening, and for being part of this journey.
